The relaxed welcoming entrance area to the Centre leads through to the refreshment lounge and the club's four bowling rinks.

The extensive artificial "day light" Iilumination provided to the 35 metre rinks gives a warm welcome to all who use these well run facilities.

The Club is a friendly privately run bowls club with just under 300 members. With a few exceptions, the rinks are in use 13 hours a day and 7 days a week for County matches, club competition, casual play, and coaching.

We have a good number of qualified players to coach

new members and umpire matches. The club has enjoyed success since it was founded in 1992 and continues to welcome new members as well as visitors to the area.

A Public Open Day is held
each year  for non-players to get a feel for the sport. Many of the members play outside during the summer so the club has two programmes, one for the winter and a lighter one for the summer. Included in the social programme are fun to raise money for charity.
The age group of the membership reflects the
area in that it is predominantly retired, but the club is planning to expand into other age groups as Indoor Bowls is a sport with plenty to offer for all ages and abilities.
